I celebrated my 26th birthday last week and I want to share some things that are trans-forming my life. I miss writing and feel I could write posts on all the things mentioned here, however I am taking a study break this November through December from my blog.
26 THINGS THAT ARE TRANSFORMING MY LIFE
- Eating whole foods that are naturally gluten, wheat, dairy free and low in sugars. Such as grains: Quinoa, Amaranth and Polenta. Along with veggies Avacado, Kale, as well as the goodness of Quorn, meat, eggs, fruits and nuts. These are allowing me to feel more balanced, any anxiety I used to store up simply slips away, I have more energy and my body is well proportioned ie. no bloated tummy!
- Earlier this year I switched make up remover wipes for coconut oil and regular conditioner for apple cider vinegar rinse. My skin is bright and clear (mostly) and my hair is softer too.
- Rising early is very important to me, I’m happiest when I have a free hour before study/work.
- I have a frame that I decorated to say in the middle ‘I AM THE LIGHT’ to remind myself I am a being of source energy, today is a new day.
- I meditate each morning for 10 minutes either in the quiet or with videos on youtube.
- I do Kundalini yoga routines in the morning, I’m a fan of Shivie Cook and YogaRollinger.
- I really believe that switching to miscellaneous music and less pop has improved my thoughts and feelings of life, I listen to Snatam Kaur and Rickie Byars Beckwith often on Spotify.
- Getting in the Vortex is really moving me into a deeper understanding of myself and relationships with others
- I am guided by the saying – your vibe attracts your tribe – so true!
- Being authentic and living whole heartedly is my highest focus now – I am breaking through boundaries to a more self loving, self powerful way of being, thank you Brene Brown.
- Less comparison, more compassion – it’s shocking how much I compare, I catch myself doing this both my with my internal voice and actual voice. I am moving towards more compassionate thinking.
- No explain, no complain, no excuses – from Wayne Dyer’s Exuses Be Gone, a book but you can also find it on youtube.
- Breath your own breath, be loving and powerful – I repeat the first to myself when I find catch myself comparing myself to another and I breath a lot more when ‘the going get’s tough’. To come from a place of calm as well as sharing how I feel, again this takes practice.
- I am cultivating confidence and momentum by taking steps and keeping it moving.
- “Let go let God”, allow this moment, move through it – I say it to myself when I feel I am trying to control everything that can not be controlled and when I feel rushed it helps me slow, stay in the moment. Glancing at my tattoo reminds me of these important words.
- Go out into nature or observe it – in good weather we took trips to the woods, nature is so peaceful. It can be viewed from a window, leaves moving in the breeze allow me to just ‘be’.
- Get out with loved ones for conversation away from home – I really noticed the difference of feeling more free, lively and open conversation when me and the Mr. go out and do something.
- “When something happens you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift for it is opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing, only you can choose.” -Wayne Dyer. This is true of something that happened to me lately, though I was distraught, I started planning, I saw the opportunity to improve and do my best.
- I don’t tend to think about practicality or current fashion trends, just to wear what I feel drawn to, what I want to.
- I find myself saying ‘appreciate’ and ‘surrender’ often, be thankful in ordinary moments and just let go, everything is happening perfectly.
- Laugh often, laugh at your mistakes, laugh at impossible, watch funny films.
- When you have a positive focus, you get into a zone of helping and attracting what you desire. I find I’ve naturally using the word ‘helpful’ and more uplifting words a lot lately.
- For guidance and insight to my week I’ve been watching weekly tarot videos.
- I’m drinking low to no alcohol as I feel it’s right, it keeps my productivity up and I can enjoy my early mornings headache and rubbish feeling free.
- I have less attachment to television, I like watching entertaining shows on Netflix and films but I don’t go out of my way to watch TV now.
- Before I go to sleep, whilst lying down I think to myself three things I am grateful for, I start with ‘Today I am grateful for..1…2…3..Sometimes I fall asleep before three, if not I put on my healing eye pillow. I fall into a deep sleep and wake up feeling refreshed.
