‘Kundalini Yoga is the master science of experience and awareness.
The purpose of all our efforts is simply to extend your awareness in your consciousness so you can have this foundation in experience and base in positive habits. Then you can smoothly plan your life to any extent you like. You can radiate creativity and infinity in all aspects of life. This is the practical result of yoga.’ – Yogi Bhajan
Kundalini simply means energy, it is your creative potential. Through the science of Kundalini yoga you work on the seven chakras, the arcline and the aura (eighth chakra). You learn to ride your energy, to experience it and use it in any given situation to attain a balance on and off the mat.
In Kundalini yoga the most important thing is experience. The energy of the glandular system combines with the energy of the nervous system to create such a sensitivity that the totality of the brain receives signals and integrates them. It is within the Science of Kundalini Yoga that we are able to combine what we do on the mat to deal better with the ups and downs in life and live more freely and fully. To develop coping strategies and a strong inner support system.
‘We serve and share, we do not push and proselytize. Truth and authentic growth do not happen that way.’- Yogi Bhajan
Other forms of yoga such as Hatha can also raise Kundalini energy, through apana and prana, the powers of the moon and sun. The purpose of other types of yoga is the same, only Kundalini yoga is direct, quick and a perfect practice for the pace of a modern household. Kundalini yoga is the master of science and experience.
Why not start with Kundalini yoga direct?
I am also using my website to share my art works and writings. I write about the story behind my paintings and the creative process, as accountability to myself and to share myself with others. I track and summarise the changes and happenings in my yoga journey, a lot can happen in 40 days!
I have two projects on the go at the moment Trust and Love in Polaroids where you can view all the photos I’ve taken so far since 9th June 2017 and my Living List where I list things and tick things off that I’m doing while alive.
