Kundalini simply means energy, it is your creative potential. Through the science of Kundalini yoga you work on the seven chakras, the arcline and the aura (eighth chakra). You learn to ride your energy, to experience it and use it in any given situation to attain a balance on and off the mat.
In Kundalini yoga the most important thing is experience. The energy of the glandular system combines with the energy of the nervous system to create such a sensitivity that the totality of the brain receives signals and integrates them. It is within the Science of Kundalini Yoga that we are able to combine what we do on the mat to deal better with the ups and downs in life and live more freely and fully. To develop coping strategies and a strong inner support system.

Other forms of yoga such as Hatha can also raise Kundalini energy, through apana and prana, the powers of the moon and sun. The purpose of other types of yoga is the same, only Kundalini yoga is direct, quick and a perfect practice for the pace of a modern household. Kundalini yoga is the master of science and experience.

I am also using my website to share my art works and writings. I write about the story behind my paintings and the creative process, as accountability to myself and to share myself with others. I track and summarise the changes and happenings in my yoga journey, a lot can happen in 40 days!

In between caring for our new baby, I write. When I tire of writing, I paint, draw and plan yoga classes.
I originally started blogging to show my paintings. I moved onto sharing Yoga sets when finally I stripped it down to just writing. What Matters. To me. To inspire positive movement.
I’ve gotten back into Art Journaling too so really, I’ve come full circle.
