In May 2017 after watching a documentary called A time to live Sue Bourne, I decided to re write my bucket list as – the living list. It makes sense really, it being a list of things I want to do while living.
I want more accountability for getting up and doing things I really want to do. I have an obsession with writing and documenting life so thankfully I have somewhere to channel that energy!
I also had a friend who’s life was relatively short lived though found a way to get through each day and enjoy them. I used to say to them often – Today is a brand new day! Enjoy your day! It’s easy for me to say it to someone else, I’m caring by nature but to really live it myself, that’s the challenge.

Here I have a list of things I have done with a date by them or highlighted for you to click to a blog post. There will be some I haven’t done and may change depending on if I still want to do them and I’ll add to the list when an idea comes. I’m simply doing it to get out of my own way and live more and inspire others to do the same.

Went to a friends Sikh wedding
Showed older Art at local shop
Connected with Art community
Went to Vegan festival
Went to a Sikhi Camp
Taught yoga at home
Got an Ayurvedic massage
Completed yoga training
Went sightseeing in Edinburgh
Learnt street parchar with Basics of Sikhi
Met up with Sangat Birmingham
Blenheim Palace at Christmas (the lights!)

In between caring for our new baby, I write. When I tire of writing, I paint, draw and plan yoga classes.
I originally started blogging to show my paintings. I moved onto sharing Yoga sets when finally I stripped it down to just writing. What Matters. To me. To inspire positive movement.
I’ve gotten back into Art Journaling too so really, I’ve come full circle.
